Xiaomi is known for its quality smartphones at competitive prices, but that's not the only area in which the Chinese company excels. Xiaomi also makes a range of notebooks that offer great value for money, at least in China. The RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition 2023 is the latest example of this philosophy, a notebook that marries the latest AMD mobile platform with Ryzen 7000 series processors.

The RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition 2023 does not differ much from the previous model presented last year. However, the new model introduces some significant improvements, especially in terms of performance but also in terms of fuel consumption and range.
The Pro 15 Ryzen Edition 2023 is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, a chip that integrates 8 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum frequency of 5,1 GHz and a L3 cache of 16 MB. It is a CPU that can easily handle all modern applications and games, thanks also to its Zen4 architecture which guarantees excellent optimization of consumption and temperatures.
To support the CPU there is one Integrated Radeon 780M GPU, based on the RDNA3 architecture and featuring 12 compute units and a frequency of 2,7 GHz. It is one of the best integrated graphics cards on the market today. The GPU can also take advantage of the advanced features of the notebook display, one 15 inch screen with 3.2K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR support. The screen also has an aspect ratio of 16:10, 100% coverage of the sRGB color space and a brightness of 500 nits.
As for memory and storage, the RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition 2023 should offer configurations with 16 or 32 GB DDR5 RAM and 4.0 or 1 TB PCI-E Gen 2 SSD. Connectivity is also state of the art, with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, USB 4.0 and HDMI 2.1. The notebook also has an aluminum frame machined with CNC technology, a thickness of only 14,9 mm and a weight of about 1,8 kg.
The Pro 15 Ryzen Edition 2023 will be officially launched on July 19 in Chinaa price that should be around 5000 yuan (620€).
