Xiaomi has launched a new magnetic powerbank in China that supports the standard di Qi2 wireless charging, the most recent and advanced protocol for wireless electricity transmission. His name is Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 2 6000mAh 15W and it is an accessory that promises to offer fast and safe charging for compatible devices, in particular for the iPhone 13-15 series which adopts the same standard.

The Magnetic Power Bank 2 6000mAh 15W has a rated capacity of 3600mAh (5V/2.4A) and real capacity of 6000mAh. It can provide a output power of 15W for devices that support Qi2 need 7.5W for those that support MagSafe (iPhone 12 series). Furthermore, it has a USB-C port offering 18W output power and input power of 20W, allowing you to also charge other devices via cable.
Xiaomi's magnetic powerbank easily connects to the back of compatible devices, thanks to the presence of integrated magnets which ensure its stability and alignment. In this way, you can take advantage of the convenience of wireless charging without sacrificing portability and practicality. The powerbank also supports Simultaneous charging and discharging function, allowing you to charge your device while recharging the same powerbank via an adapter with a power greater than 10W (20W for Qi2 devices).
The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 2 6000mAh 15W has an elegant and refined design, with a synthetic leather back available in two colours: porcelain white and light sky blue. The material offers a good grip and a pleasant feel, as well as protecting the powerbank from scratches and bumps. The Magnetic Power Bank 2 6000mAh 15W is currently in crowdfunding on the Chinese platform Youpin, at price of 219 yuan (about 28 euro). It is one of the first accessories on the market to support the Qi2 standard, which represents the future of magnetic wireless charging. The powerbank is compatible with Apple's official MagSafe covers.
