A few months ago, we reported two smartphones certified to support 66W fast charging. Those two devices were thought to be the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 4. Well, today a denial arrives, at least in part.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will have support for 66W charging
According to the latest rumors that come from one of the most famous smartphone manufacturers in the world, Foxconn, the code names M2001J2E / C and M2001JE / C that we had previously seen instead correspond to the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, the next flagship series of the Chinese brand. So it seems confirmed that the two terminals adopt an ultra fast 66W recharge.
Specifically, we will have a charge at 11V and 6A, for 66W, alternatively charging at 20V 3.25A is also supported for a total of 65W.
Also in the same certificate we also see that smartphones both support 5G technology. This is thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 modem which will be used in combination with the Snapdragon 865, which is the latest chip from the Qualcomm brand.
Together with the high-performance CPU we will then find LPDDR5 type RAM available only in 6GB and 12GB denominations, so we can assume that at least the top versions of the Xiaomi Mi 10 series will have 12GB of RAM. While the memory used for storage will be UFS 3.0 type.
Furthermore, in the last few hours a rumor is also blowing outside which suggests the presence of an 8P type lens on the next flagship series. For the uninitiated, the 8P type lens has already been used by Xiaomi on the CC9 Pro Premium Edition and is the one that allowed the smartphone to go to the top of the DxOMark ranking with 121 points.
Finally, as regards the rumors regarding the Mi 10 series, the devices should adopt a screen with a high refresh rate, most likely 90Hz.
What do you think of these specifications, which have not yet been confirmed? Let us know in the comments section below!
I'm interested in super charging poco, I charge it at night, during the day having a wireless recharge at hand is not so obvious. I hope in a decent video / photo compartment, supported by up to date software management and not having to install third-party cameras. On the display, the more hz the better.
