Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Redmi K40 (POCO X3 Pro) certificates: global launch around the corner?

As we already know, Xiaomi is hard at work to launch the next Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro in the months to follow. This was also recently confirmed by the famous leakster Max Weinbach, who suggested that the Mi 11 Pro could arrive in the months of April or May, together with the next Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.

Furthermore, Max Weinbach also said that the Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M2012K1G would be the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. Today, a device with this model number has been certified in India by the BIS certification body, thus suggesting that the international version of the device is closer than expected. Together with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has also certified the now upcoming Redmi K40.

More specifically, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro was certified with the model number M2012K1G while the Redmi K40 appeared with the model number M2012K11AI. Unfortunately, however, these certifications are not accompanied by specifications, so the only data we can extrapolate from this news is that the two devices are arriving in India and consequently also in the rest of the world.

In any case, the main specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro are easy enough to guess. We expect the high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 as a chipset, a 6,81-inch curved AMOLED screen with QHD + resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate, 120x zoom, and a 5.000mAh dual-cell battery. The smartphone could also adopt the first camera under the display for the Chinese brand.

As for the Redmi K40, the TENAA certification a few hours ago he revealed to us that the smartphone will come with a Samsung E4 AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and dimensions of 6,67 inches. The smartphone will be powered by a 4.420mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and Android 11 as the operating system. For performance, however, we expect to find a Snapdragon 7-series CPU, but it wouldn't surprise us to see the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip.

Finally, we note that the Chinese Redmi K40 could be released in a global version under the brand POCO (X3 Pro?), Although at the moment it is not yet clear what name it would come under.
