Redmi K40, K40 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10S certified in China: some main specifications revealed
So let's start with the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro which seem to arrive with the same size, display and batteries. So, most likely the two smartphones will differ only in the internal hardware, such as CPU, cameras etc .. Going to the actual numbers, the devices measure 163,7 x 76,4 x 7,8 mm and are equipped with a display of 6,67 in.
Previous leaks had revealed that the Redmi K40 series will be equipped with Samsung E4 AMOLED screens, therefore among the best around, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Furthermore, the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro will be powered by 4.420 mAh batteries and will run with the Android 11 operating system, under the MIUI skin.
As for the rest, the 3C certifications of the two devices had suggested that both could be shipped with a 33W fast charger. The main difference we will see instead in the chips on board, with the Redmi K40 Pro should equip the flagship chip Snapdragon 888, while the standard Redmi K40 version could adopt a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chip or the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200. In any case, the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro will debut in China on February 25th.
Moving on to the mysterious variant of the Xiaomi Mi 10, several leaks suggest that it could arrive with a Snapdragon 870 on board and that its name could be Xiaomi Mi 10S. The dimensions are 162,6 x 74,8 x 8,96 mm and it also has a 6,67-inch screen. Finally, the smartphone adopts a 4.680 mAh battery, a fast charge with a power of 33W and runs with the Android 11 operating system.
