As scheduled, Xiaomi has just presented the new Xiaomi Mi 11, the high-performance flagship that we will most likely see at the top of several rankings in the following months; let's go find out more!

The Xiaomi adopts a 6.81-inch AMOLED curved panel, with 2K resolution, a brightness of 1500nit and a refresh ratio of 120Hz. A display with high visual quality since it has already earned an "A +" rating from the famous DisplayMate screen review platform, shattering 13 records.

Like any self-respecting new generation flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is powered by the brand new Snapdragon 888, the most performing mobile CPU on the market, capable of obtaining over 745 thousand points on the famous AnTuTu benchmarking app.

We then find a minimum of 8GB of ultra-fast LPDDR5 RAM and also an improvement in WiFi technology. The brand has in fact communicated that this new version of WiFi 6 sees double the bandwidth compared to the previous generation, with a density of transmission information increased by 20% and a final network speed 2,1 times faster (up to 3,5 , XNUMX Gbps).

As for photography, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is equipped with three cameras in total, including the main 108MP, Samsung ISOCEL Bright HM2 sensor, with a focal aperture of f / 1.79, 1 / 1.33 ″ large sensor, PDAF and OIS ( optical image stabilization). The secondary camera is a 13MP sensor with an ultrawide 123 ° lens and a focal aperture of f / 2.4. Finally, the third is a 5MP sensor for taking macro photos with a focal aperture of f / 2.4. For selfies we find a 20MP camera with a focal aperture of f / 2.2.

Moving on to fast charging, the standard Xiaomi Mi 11 adopts fast charging with a maximum power of 55W via cable, to recharge the smartphone from zero to 100% in only 45 minutes, a wireless charging with power of 50W (from zero to 100% in 53 minutes) and reverse wireless charging with a power of 10W, a very useful feature for charging low-power gadgets with support for wireless charging such as TWS wireless headphones.

Speaking of headphones and audio, Xiaomi has collaborated with the Harman Kardon brand to "create the most powerful stereo sound effect on a smartphone", this includes a development with the "Golden Ear" team, dual stereo speakers, with "shock function 3D ”, for a more immersive gaming experience than ever and the ability to share audio with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

From the design point of view, however, the Xiaomi Mi adopts a very elegant frosted glass back cover in black, white and blue, and is also available in two models called "Tech & Fashion" in smooth leather for a soft touch sensation in the colors we see in the cover image (gold and silver). The smartphone is also ultra thin with a thickness of only 8,06mm inside which we find a 4600mAh battery, therefore an average capacity. While the weight settles at 196 grams.

Finally, let's see the prices, which are clearly only for the Chinese market. Let's start with the basic Xiaomi Mi 11 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory at a price of 3999 yuan, about 500 euros at the exchange rate (the same price as its predecessor). The model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory costs 4299 yuan, about 540 euros and finally the one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory has a price of 4699 yuan, about 590 euros.

Xiaomi also launched a special version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 with a 55W GaN charger. This version was supposed to cost 4098 yuan, but the manufacturer decided not to charge the difference. It will therefore be possible to choose between Mi 11 with or without charger, both at 3999 yuan.
