It's only been a week since Xiaomi announced its new Mi 5X device, the first to be equipped with new MIUI 9 interface, and somebody has already had fun disassembling it and putting it naked with one teardown, showing us what the new mid-range of Xiaomi home hides inside.
Open it Xiaomi Mi 5X it looks very easy as it will be enough to remove the SIM cartridge and remove the screws located on the bottom profile of the device next to the Type-C USB port. Then with a suction cup and a little effort you can remove the back cover.
At this point the first components will be revealed and the battery can not be removed. You will proceed with removing the RF connectors and the screws that secure the motherboard and the USB card.
To the motherboard there are connected several components including the rear double chamber module, the selfie chamber, and the fingerprint sensor. Components can be removed individually as well as the loudspeaker and vibration motor.
Instead, we find the Type-C port and the 3.5mm headset input on the USB card.
In a way we expected a little more from this teardown, like maybe confirm what kind of sensors actually adopt the Mi 5X for the double rear room.
We recall some technical specifications that result to be: Full HD 1080p 5,5 inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal memory, 3080mAh battery, dual rear camera which consists of two 12 megapixel sensors and a 5 megapixel front camera. The Xioami Mi 5X is already available in China for a price of 1499 yuan and is available in several color options including black, gold and pink.
I am personally curious to try this terminal, so stay tuned because some surprises may prove to be short.
