There are growing numbers of rumors about the new Xiaomi Mi 6, as a sign of the high public and media attention of the Chinese company. Today, with the usual Chinese serial leakers, we have exclusive news: with Mi 6 and its Plus variant, Mi 6C will also be presented!
At this point it would be very likely that the Mi 6C would adopt the chip top variant Pinecone, Surge S2, and it is therefore possible to understand Lei Jun's decision to first present a mid-range SoC on the market like the Surge S1: in order not to overshadow those that are the real flagships of the "standard" lineup, namely the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 6.
But another detail makes the use of the Surge S2 for Mi 6C more concrete: the leaked image in the past few days that reports a Mi 6 with a 2.7GHz frequency processor, the same frequency as the variant V970 of the Pinecone processor.
We can not guarantee the truth of this image, but everything seems to squander perfectly to turn out to be a fake.
Of this Mi 6C you do not know, but given the previous statements by the Chinese company that both versions of the Pinecone processor were structured in the same way, the Surge S2 is also likely to have a dual ISP, the processor of the image sensor, configuration that allows one double camera.

- Price starting from a minimum of 2.299yuan (about 310,00 €).
* Standard variant:
- Display: 5.15 screen "Full HD (1080p).
- CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.
- Rear camera from 12Mp with Sony IMX362 sensor.
- Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
- Battery from 3.200mAh.
- More memory cuts from 4 / 32GB.
- Price: starting from 1.999yuan (about 270,00 €).
* Variant "C":
- CPU: Pinecone Surge S2.
- GPU: Mali G71 MP12.
- Double ISP.
- RAM 4GB, internal 64GB memory.
- Price probably of poco less than 1.999yuan.
Obviously there is still nothing certain about the specifications of the three variants, so we have to wait a few more weeks to arrive at 11 April, the date of the presentation of the new Xiaomi smartphones.
