Let's go back to rumors about the company's next flagship, which could be presented in two variants: Xiaomi Mi 7 and Mi 7 Plus. We have official confirmations from the company's CEO, Lei Jun, who states that the future device will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, a SoC that will be the flagship of many smartphones released in the 2018. Everything else remains a secret but someone still tries to reveal in their own way what will be the Xiaomi Mi 7, with images of render not really original.
In fact, the images recently appeared on the Internet clearly show a change of design compared to the current Mi 6 but overall le general lines seem to perfectly match those of Mi Mix 2. Definitely narrow edges and 21 megapixel front camera with Face ID technology, fortunately placed in the upper part above the display, as well as the sensors and the ear capsule.
The MI series is famous for its excellent photographic performance and Xiaomi Mi 7 seems to want to confirm this tradition thanks to the double rear module including one 16 megapixel camera plus one from 20 megapixel with possibility optical zoom up to 4X and video recording 4K to 60fps. In rendering online, there is no trace of the fingerprint sensor assuming that the same can be found under the display as seen in the recent CES 2018 by Vivo.
Wireless charging, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage and mainly ceramic material (for the Plus version) or glass variant for the body of the new Xiaomi Mi 7, which could be launched at a price of 410 euro for the standard version and 450 euro for Plus version. Personally I do not believe much in these renderings appeared on the net and I would not appreciate this kind of design on the MI version. And what do you think?
It seems to me that the impression sensor is positioned on the back, or am I wrong?
It would cannibalize the Mi Mix 2. But it must still be said that with the borderless philosophy more and more smartphones will look alike.
