As you can see in the picture below, it is a "Maaaaxxxx" version of the Mi 9 EE, so they called it "Xiaomi Mi 9 Maaaaxxxx Explorer Edition". To show it to the world (or at least the Chinese one), it was Zhi Zhiyan, director of marketing for the smartphone division.
