At the presentation of last July, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi 5X smartphone the interesting Xiaomi Mi AI Speaker, which officially debuted yesterday for sales. In particular, the product was not offered in continuous supply but in flash sale so that the user can test it. The Xiaomi Mi AI Speaker adopts a full-fledged Xiaomi style design, proposing with sober and minimal lines in white color. But what's more interesting is what we can find inside the speaker, which offers a high quality sound with 6 outcomes omnidirectional microphones at 360 degrees able to capture the user's voice so that it can issue commands and with the possibility to integrate with the digital assistant on the latest release of the MIUI 9, in short a real rival of the most respected Amazon Echo.
Also the speaker is able to to offer multimedia content by fishing them directly from the network. There is also a push-button to interact with the Mi AI Speaker. The user has the opportunity to Ask about weather, news, set an alarm or a reminder, check the various home automation systems of the Mijia / Mi Home ecosystem, re-distribute music, podcasts, digital books, and more.
We don't know if the Xiaomi Mi Ai Speaker will actually be available globally and above all if the features can actually be exploited even in our latitudes, at least in English, but in any case it remains a decidedly interesting product.
