The media attention that has been in the past and continues to be still, albeit in a smaller form, towards the Xiaomi Mi Band, a wearable device just by cost 14 €, was awesome. For a few weeks this part has taken over a whole series of rumors about the second generation. At first we knew that it was simply a classic Mi Band with the addition of a heartbeat sensor.
Recently, however, a leaked image has emerged along with some information that leads us to think that what we thought before the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 was wrong. As you can see in fact, the new wearable should have a circular shape instead of oblong, which would well hope for the presence of a display, desperately required by users.
As for the features we know, the new Xiaomi Mi band should equip one NFC chip and a wider battery. In this way, both pairing with the smartphone and autonomy would be better (especially the battery if there should be a display).
The official presentation of Xiaomi Mi Band 2 may however be closer than you think. Xiaomi himself has published a teaser image of an event organized for the next 16 September in which he will host the Amazfit project, which could be the codename of the device object of our attention today.
