As happened for its predecessor in 2015, the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 also wins the prestigious IF Design Award 2017 edition. This recognition is the demonstration of how Xiaomi is very careful to research technological innovation and also to take care of the aesthetic side of their products: just think of the Xiaomi Mi Mix, which has been considered as one of the most attractive smartphones ever released so far. It is hoped that Xiaomi will continue in its search for innovation even in the years to come.
Since 1953 IF International Forum Design GmbH has been organizing one of the most celebrated and esteemed design competitions in the world. The IF Design Award gathers over 5.000 submissions from 70 states each year. For example, the competition has decided entries from 59 countries from around the world, so the award is becoming more and more popular. This year, in fact, African states such as Mauritania and Nigeria also signed up for the first time.
