Yesterday we showed you the teaser of Xiaomi that has literally shocked the minds of users and that has helped to significantly raise the hype that every self-respecting Xiaomi fan has been feeding for weeks on the future Mi Band 3.
Although the teaser turned out to be only a troll by Xiaomi, not even 24 hours away, here we are again and bring up this long awaited smartband that we see protagonist in a new live image and accompanied by new rumors about the technical specifications that they will characterize it.

After seeing her at the wrist of that prank of Lei Jun, here is the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 in what is a beautiful design but at the same time essential. Compared to the previous model, its lines have not been at all distorted and the result is once again a product that makes simplicity its own strong point.
As you can see, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is on and on its display that seems to be slightly larger than the Mi Band 2, the time is shown together with a little drawing depicting the Pac-Man ghosts.

Speaking of display, this should also be an OLED unit from which it is almost certain it will be possible to control all the information related to those elementary functionalities already seen on the predecessor of this Mi Band 3. I speak of course of:
- counting steps
- heart rate monitor
- sleep statistics.
It speculates on how it was maintained IP67 certification, but in my opinion it would be more useful one IP68 to also allow immersions of medium to long duration.
Finally, here is the real news that leaks have brought to the fore just in the last hours: according to what reported by MyDrivers.com colleagues, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will be equipped with NFC chips which, in the same way as with current company smartphones, can be used to access public transport services or similar through contacless payments.
Nothing was said, however, about the presence of a localization sensor within the band, this too frowned upon by fans as it would represent a really substantial upgrade compared to the old models.
We close with the possible period of presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, a period that, by virtue of the aforementioned teaser and increasingly insistent rumors, should not go beyond the month of May. We'll see if these rumors prove to be true, meanwhile stay tuned!

In my opinion, better this way. The Mi Band is tempting because it is essential and costs poco. If you want more Xiaomi offers other products
in a certain sense, the Mi Band 3 must maintain its own icon, which in fact exploded with version 2, but revolutionizing would not make sense… in short, let's think about the automotive market. FIAT didn't change the design of the 500, it just modernized it.
