Today, Xiaomi CC product manager Wei Siqi revealed during an interaction with Chinese Mi Fans that the new Xiaomi CC series will be released in the third quarter of 2021.
Xiaomi Mi CC10 / Mi Note 11 coming in the third quarter of 2021
Great news for fans of the series as last year the Mi CC series was not updated and it was therefore thought that this had been discontinued, but apparently this is not the case.
The next series should arrive under the name of Mi CC10 since the previous one was called CC9. Having said that Xiaomi could decide to skip number 10 and go directly to 11, just as a year without new devices was skipped. Furthermore, the name CC11 would align it with its global equivalent, which should be called Xiaomi Mi Note 11. We remember that the Xiaomi Mi CC9 arrived in Italy with the name of Xiaomi Mi Note 10.
The Mi CC9 series launched by Xiaomi in 2019 sparked a lot of interest mainly because the Mi CC9 Pro was the first smartphone in the world with a 100 megapixel main camera. The Mi CC9 Pro was also reviewed by the popular DXOMARK benchmarking platform going to the top of the chart with the highest score along with Huawei's flagship of that period. Thus becoming one of the best smartphones for taking pictures even if it is not a real flagship.
In fact, the main feature of Xiaomi's CC series is to adopt a high-quality photographic sector, going against the various devices of Huawei in the Nova series, Vivo with its X series and OPPO with its Reno series.
So those who have a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and are looking for an upgrade or want a great device for taking pictures branded Xiaomi, would probably do well to wait until the second half of the year for the launch of the new Mi CC10 / Mi Note 11.
