Xiaomi Mi CC9: New presentation set for tomorrow morning, will he?

Those who were alone until the other day rumors and that yesterday they have turned into something more realistic, but today they become official news. Xiaomi has just announced that tomorrow morning at 10 (in China), a new series device will be unveiled.

At the moment it is not yet clear what series it is but let's go and see the newly released teaser and throw away two hypotheses.

Xiaomi Mi CC9: New presentation set for tomorrow morning, will he?

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu

As we can see, the image published by Xiaomi's official account on the Chinese social media Weibo portrays a child who is currently not very fortunate in terms of teeth. Under his photo Xiaomi writes "My smile makes the world laugh at me", a comment not too positive but apparently the Chinese giant has the solution. Just below we find the slogan "Use the front camera of the Xiaomi _ _ _".

Although Xiaomi has left no other clue, it seems very possible that this hypothetical smartphone with a miraculous front camera can really be part of the new series Meitu of which we have spoken in the last days.

xiaomi meitu

Meitu is a famous Chinese smartphone manufacturer who has sold its branding and know-how to Xiaomi over the past few months due to financial problems. The strength of this brand has always been the front camera, both hardware and software with dozens of algorithms dedicated to improving the physical appearance.

But back to the device coming tomorrow, this will most likely be the Xiaomi Mi CC9 or the younger brother Mi CC9e that we discovered in this post. Smartphones should equip a Snapdragon 730 for CC9 and Snapdragon 710 for CC9e, front-facing cameras from 32MP, while the latter will be 48MP and well-4000mAh batteries.

The two devices would have different unlocking technologies, sensor below the screen for the more premium Xiaomi Mi CC9 and old-style rear fingerprint sensor on the CC9e Mi. Finally both smartphones will be equipped with an NFC chip.
