It is now a couple of days that we hear about a device that could arise from the cooperation of Xiaomi and Meitu. The latter is a famous Chinese smartphone manufacturer who, due to various financial problems, was acquired by Xiaomi a few months ago.

Well, today a new image has appeared online that could show us the fruit of this cooperation, let's go and see it together.

As you can see in the image above, a device with three rear cameras and a rotating mechanism is shown. This would allow the use of the three sensors also for frontal selfies, with all the consequent benefits.

The mechanism would seem very similar to that of the recent ASUS ZenFone 6, also a smartphone with a photographic compartment that can be rotated to take high quality selfies.

This trend could take hold in China as it allows the use of rear cameras that are notoriously better than frontal cameras, all without creating notches or holes on the screen.

Furthermore, as we can also see in the rendering of this hypothetical Xiaomi Meitu device, we have the possibility of using three cameras, something never seen before on a smartphone.

That said, if there is a brand for which the three front-facing cameras make sense, this is Meitu. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has in fact always focused on the production of devices for women with the front camera as a strength. If you know the brand you will also know that Meitu does not stop there. The company has in its arsenal dozens of features and algorithms to increase the "beauty" in the photos.

Through the various Meitu software it is in fact possible to change almost completely your appearance, changing skin color, stretching your legs, slimming your waist and so on.

Obviously for many Xiaomi fans these features seem a bit superfluous, but in the Chinese market they are king, at least among the female public.
