After suffering a sudden shutdown, the stable version of MIUI 12 begins to officially arrive on the rest of the smartphones, temporarily left behind by the Asian brand. The list of devices that has been enriched with the added value of MIUI 12 begins to become very populated, not least the news of the update that involved Mi 9 Lite and Mi 9 SE and now the release of theupgrade features the latest and glorious phablet, namely the Mi Max 3.

Unfortunately we are currently talking about the China Stable version but soon the update should also reach the global devices of the device in question. Recall that the ROM can only be installed on devices designed for the Chinese market due to the more restrictive policy by Xiaomi, under penalty of bricking the phone unless you have unblocked the bootloader.

The update to the new MIUI interface leads to the version 12.0.1.0.QEDCNXM on an Android 10 basis and as already anticipated will be notified via OTA, gradually or if you do not want to wait you can proceed with the download of the ZIP file of the OTA update and install it manually by going to the menu Settings> About phone> System updates> Menu (3 dots at the top right)> Choose the update package. Just select the file you just downloaded to proceed with the flash of the MIUI 12 China Stable on Xiaomi Mi Max 3 without any data being deleted. We recommend, but not essential, always a data backup, if possible, and a clean flash with each update of this type.
