Xiaomi could be working on the successor of one of the most talked about smartphones of 2016, Mi Mix. The device, praised for its innovative design, could become "obsolete" sooner than expected. In the last few hours, renderings have appeared on the web showing a concept phone with a screen-to-body rate of 100%. The screen size of this device would be the same as the predecessor (6,4 ″) while the supported resolution would be 2K, against the 1080 x 2040 of the “original” Mi Mix.
According to rumors, even Mi Mix 2, like many of the recently released smartphones, would be equipped with a double chamber system. However, one of the renderings of the back of the smartphone only shows a camera. As for the front camera, heavily criticized in the Mi Mix, there would be big news. To remedy the lack of space due to the pioneering size of the screen, Xiaomi would have thought of equipping Mi Mix 2 with a telescopic LED flash camera, which would remain hidden in the upper part of the device. The Mi Mix 2 will be equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner placed under the display. Rumors also indicate that on board Mi Mix 2 the MIUI 9 interface based on Android 7.0 would be placed.
Below you will find all the render appear on the web in the last few hours.
The Mi Mix has the fingerprint reader at the back of the camera, so the Mi Mix 2, which is said to have the ultrasonic reader integrated into the display, does not have the same system.
