Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: revealed probable design

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 back protagonist of the rumors of the web. Just in these hours, from a source very close to the Chinese company, a drawing that would reveal the design of the successor of the beautiful and powerful Xiaomi Mi Mix.

According to this technical drawing, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 would keep roughly the same dimensions as its predecessor, always equipped with an OLED screen which however occupies an even greater surface than the previous model, confirming what was the latest news. However, the small edges of the front will serve to position the fingerprint scanner, which has been moved compared to the already released Mi Mix. In the back the body will be ceramic, and according to this design there should be a dual rear camera, between which the LED flash is placed.

For the moment we are not told anything else about this fascinating terminal, however it seems reasonable to assume that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will mount the Snapdragon 835, a processor that for the end of the year, presumed release date of the Mi Mix 2, should be well tested and from use not limited by exclusive agreements with other companies.

The unknowns remain on the supply of OLED panels, which have caused a small production of Xiaomi's concept phone 2016, but according to some sources, Chinese manufacturers of these displays are ramping up their production in anticipation of strong demand, so ultimately no problems are expected on that front.

Obviously, as we talk about a terminal we do not know virtually anything, we can only take all this information with the due detachment.

Do you think about this new line?

And who stops them anymore? I see the new Apple in Xiaomi. Despite shamelessly copying from Apple itself, I think it makes more sense to buy a device designed and manufactured in China with a good design than one that is designed in the USA but manufactured in China but with premium prices, which costs less and which has a more OS. “Free” (free is a big word, but I still prefer the great possibilities of Android to the extremely closed iOS operating system). It's kind of like comparing the new Honda Civic to the Audi A3. With Honda you have more for less,... Read the rest »

That they shamelessly copy… .. In short, Xiaomi in my opinion has gone further. If you look for example the new Sony XZ Premium has the same shape as the Xiaomi Mi 3. I remember a discussion between friends years ago, when I studied to find a much more efficient alternative to the various Lagsungs, in which they said that the Mi 3 had a design that others, at the time, did not have. Same thing for the Mi Mix: Xiaomi has dictated the step to which the rest must adapt. There are articles that say the Mix is what the iPhone was supposed to be. For the support issue... Read the rest »

Apart from an Android security issue - Android or iOS have their flaws anyway! - if the phone is fine and you have no problems in my opinion it makes no sense to update every week. I hope this was helpful and you enjoyed the article! 😉
