It's been a while since Xiaomi it does not talk about itself with regards to i PC. Machines without doubt performing that in China have received a lot of support both for the very minimal design (reminiscent of the big bitten apple), both for excellent value for money. The only problem for those who want a compact laptop Xiaomian, we talk about the Mi Notebook Air, is that when the monitor's thumbs decrease, the power of calculation decreases proportionally: in fact, the only model of PC Xiaomi from 12.5 "is the Air model, which mounts a processor Intel Core M3, processor known to be mainly mounted on tablets or in any case on those devices that do not need exaggerated heat dissipation. Basically this "new" handset is identical in all to the previous model, if not for the processor change. Instead of mounting a processor Intel M3-7Y30 with seventh-generation Kaby Lake architecture, mounts a processor Intel Core i5, which differentiates its performances in a truly remarkable way: i5 does not support Hyper-Threading technology such as M3, technology that allows you to "make it appear" to the PC to have twice the logical threads. Conversely though M3 does not support Turbo Boost technology, which allows an extra sprint if necessary, a feature present in i5. Obviously this implies a presence on the i5 of cooling grids that were previously absent.
For the rest it would seem really all the same: as regards the measures we talk about a 12.5 ”IPS display with Full HD resolution 1920 1080 pixels x and of an aluminum body from 292 x 202 x 12,9 mm that weighs 1070 grams. Present a headphone jack from 3.5 mma HDMI 1.4 port through which to connect an external monitor, an 3.0 USB port e a USB Type-C input. Also on the side hardware we will have the same endowment as before, that is 4 GB of RAM memory (definitely not expandable for reasons of space) e 256 GB of internal memory type SSD. The price is 3999 yuan, at the current exchange rate 509 €, honest price for the type of car.
What to say, we just have to wait for it to arrive here too: we are optimistic and as far as we know, it will come to us too. It's just a matter of time.
