Unfortunately, power banks have become an almost essential gadget in recent years, although in reality the recent increase in battery capacity within smartphones may have made them less necessary. In any case, Xiaomi is one of the most active companies in this sector, with several power banks on the market ranging from a capacity of just 5000mAh to huge 20000mAh power banks. Well, apparently the latter were no longer enough and here comes a 30000mAh monster. Yes, you read that right, thirty thousand milliamps per hour!
Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 30000mAh presented: The largest power bank ever?
The Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 arrives with a battery so large that it can recharge a Xiaomi Mi 10 or a Redmi K30 Pro for at least four and a half times without effort. While if we like to suffer with an iPhone SE 2020, the tiny battery inside the smartphone can be recharged as many as 10 and a half times. Obviously this type of power bank is very useful if you travel, if we have to stay away from home all day for study or work and so on.
The 30000mAh power bank comes with a total of four ports. These include two USB Type-A ports, i.e. the ordinary ones, a USB Type-C port (the reversible one) and a micro USB port (why do they still exist?).
As for the output power, both the USB Type-A interface and the USB Type-C interface support a maximum fast charging at 18 W, to charge up to 3 smart devices simultaneously. The USB Type-C interface with USB Type-C to Lighting cable is instead an excellent alternative for those who own an iPhone. Also, if we double-click the power button, we can activate a low current charging mode to charge smart devices such as Bluetooth headsets and smart bands.
The USB Type-C interface is also used to recharge the power bank, which supports a 24W high power input. So with the Xiaomi 30W USB charger and quick charge it can be fully charged in 7,5 hours.
Finally, for the price, the 3 mAh Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 30000 will cost 169 yuan in China, or about 21 euros at the current exchange rate.
