This morning the official account of Xiaomi TV on the social Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) officially announced the Xiaomi Mi TV 6. The actual launch of the TV is scheduled for 14:00 on June 28 and the conference arrives with the slogan “Picture Quality Dual Flagship”. So it seems that two new products could be presented: the Mi TV 6 and the Mi TV 6 Pro.
Xiaomi Mi TV 6 announced: it will be a high quality TV
In the preview teaser, the brand revealed that the internal code name of Mi TV 6 is “Uncrowned Master”. This detail seems to be reminiscent of some of the high-end features of the Mi TV Master series. The brand also pointed out that the Mi TV 6 will have supreme picture quality that is fully surround and no-nonsense.
Previously, the general manager of Xiaomi TV, Pān jùn, had published what should be an image of the bright screen of the suspected Xiaomi Mi TV 6. When the last season of the "Game of Thrones" series was played, the quality image was apparently better. As some of you may know, the last season of “Game of Thrones” was quite dark and so having a brighter, higher quality screen is definitely a plus.
Recall that the release of the previous generation of the Xiaomi Mi TV 5 series dates back to 2019, we are talking about over two years and it is therefore time to update. To this we add that according to the latest reports from the Chinese discount festival 618, Xiaomi occupies the top spot in sales and sales across all platforms in the TV category.
For the rest, the Xiaomi Mi TV 6 could arrive with a maximum price of 10000 yuan, over 1300 euros at the exchange rate, so it will not be a cheap product at all even if at the moment we do not know if this price concerns the basic Mi TV 6 or the Pro version.
