Xiaomi Mi5 will cost more than Meizu MX6?

Although the Xiaomi Mi5 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of this first half of 2016, we must not forget that especially in China the competition is very ruthless. From Huawei to Lenovo, also for Meizu, Xiaomi's competitors are very aggressive and will definitely not give up on him.

Recently, there was an indiscretion about Meizu and its new top-of-the-line Meizu MX6 smartphone. According to this, the selling price of this smartphone would be 1799 yuan, which at the exchange rate would be around 250 euro while the Xiaomi Mi5 sales price would have to go around the 1999 yuan which at the current exchange amount to about 275 euro . It would certainly be no abysmal price difference, but it would be a slight disadvantage for Xiaomi, however, should it be confirmed after the official submission of both.

As for the technical features, much of the two top of the range will be similar while others are still very different. An example of this last situation is the SoC on board, as the Xiaomi Mi5 will equip, as we have long known, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 while the Meizu MX6 will equip the Mediatek Helio X20 which, despite its CPU deca core, will not develops as much power as the quad core CPu of the Snapdragon 820.

Before leaving, we would like to remind you that the presentation of Xiaomi Mi5 will be February 24 at a Chinese event (whose invitations have already been put on sale) and at MWC 2016 in Barcelona.
