Finally something on the horizon in the very intricate world of the Xiaomi Mi5, perhaps the most anticipated smartphone in the entire history of mobile telephony. In fact, through a post published on his Weibo profile, co-founder Li Wanqiang announced that the Xiaomi Mi5 has officially entered the mass production phase. This means that everything is now complete and that the smartphone is ready for the official presentation.
In the previously mentioned Weibo post the co-founder of Xiaomi also confirms that the Mi5 will actually be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, thus making Xiaomi become the second manufacturer to adopt it (after LeTV, which presented LeTV Le Max Pro ). So deny the rumors that they wanted an exclusive supply in the first weeks for Samsung and its Galaxy S7 | Xiaomi Mi5 late also due to a Samsung Qualcomm deal? |.
At this point it is truly missing poco at the presentation even if at the moment we do not know exactly when it will happen. Relying on rumors again and based on the fact that mass production is in full swing, commercialization should take place starting in February. It would be a smart strategic choice, given that it would bring forward the official launch of Huawei P9 and Samsung Galaxy S7 by one month, expected on the market in March.
