This afternoon the tech giant Xiaomi launched the new Mijia Electric Shaver S600, an electric shaver that features a compact metal body, high-end brushless motor, floating ceramic cutting head and a protective leather case. The product will be sold in China at a price of 399 yuan, about 56 euros at current exchange rates.

The Mijia Electric Shaver S600 uses an aluminum metal body, measuring just 5,6 × 2,9 × 8,5cm, it is lightweight and portable. In addition, the product is equipped with a refined protective shearling case that gives a warm and delicate touch, much more premium than normal razors.
For the rest, the Electric Shaver S600 adopts a magnetic top lid which gives a nice feeling when opened and then closed. At the same time, the principle of the “Hall effect” is adopted. This means that with the lid in the closed state there is a sensor that blocks the motor and the “di di” sound is also emitted to avoid a possible accidental touch.
As for the blade compartment, we find a high hardness ceramic precision blade that brings a high resistance to wear and a long-term sharpening. Going into detail, this blade is made to "float" independently, the blade net floats up and down and the flexible structure is able to capture every hair, so even the most difficult corners can be shaved without problems.
In addition, the Mijia Electric Shaver S600 is equipped with a brushless motor which can therefore reach a high power in a few seconds. We are talking about a maximum speed of 7400 rpm and it is also quieter than other similar products. While thanks to the integrated chip, the shaver intelligently detects the load and the speed is constant without clipping.
Finally, the shaver has IPX7 waterproofing and an autonomy of 60 days after 2 hours of charging.
