Xiaomi seems in the mood for presents for the youngest on this cold November day. After presenting the headphones Mi AirDots Youth Edition in the morning, the company has in fact just sold a "Youth" version of the electric stove presented about a year ago. The new device is called Xiaomi Mijia Induction Cooker Youth Edition and is available at a very attractive price (at least in China); read on if you too dream of having a Mi Home!
Xiaomi Mijia Induction Cooker Youth Edition announced in China
Let's start with what is probably the basic information when you are looking for an electric stove: the power. The Xiaomi induction cooker is able to produce a power of 2100W, therefore slightly more powerful than the average that is around the 2000W.
The area of use of the Mijia Induction Cooker Youth Edition is 156mm, under which we find a system formed by two electromagnetic coils positioned vertically, one above the other. This causes the temperature to rise much faster than usual and ensures continuous operation with less energy waste.
From the design point of view, however, we find a look very similar to the previous version (not Youth), with a circular base of white color and a black plate, there are also the small dimensions that make it light and easy to carry. In the front panel, we have 9 LEDs that light up according to the set power (9 LED lights up means maximum power).
Finally we have a front knob that has to be pressed for 0,5 seconds if you want to turn on the stove, and then turn to the left or right to adjust the temperature. While to turn it off just keep the same button pressed for a longer period.
The Xiaomi Mijia Induction Cooker Youth Edition is now on sale on the Xiaomi site as 199 Yuan, or on the 25 €, a very interesting price also compared to products of less famous brands. Obviously, as always, we will have to wait a while before buying it from Italy.
