The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe is a smart safe with the lock core in line with the door, so even if the panel is violently damaged, the interior lock core can still guarantee the safety of the items. Furthermore, the lock cylinder is of level C, which is one of the highest standards in the sector and capable of providing greater protection against a "technical" (not forced) opening.
The part of the lock and the part of the locking bolt are then made of 65Mn anti-perforation steel sheet. This material is often used in high-strength structures such as large ships and bridges. It has excellent anti-puncture ability and effectively improves resistance to damage.
Inside we find instead a double-deck design, which can be used to store real estate certificates, graduation certificates, wallets, notebooks under 12 inches, A4 paper, etc.
Moving on to the smart side, the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe adopts a custom Mijia security chip, all data communications between the safe and the user's smartphone are certified and encrypted by the chip to ensure the security of transmission. Through the Mijia APP, users can manage the device and view the remote unlock history and various alarm reminders at any time.
The Mijia Smart Safe supports 6 unlocking methods: fingerprint, password, one-time password, Bluetooth, key and two-factor authentication. Specifically, it supports 20-digit virtual passwords and you can randomly enter codes before and after the real password to prevent it from being stolen. No gateway is required and one-time passwords can be issued remotely via the Mijia app.
Finally, in terms of autonomy, the safe integrates 4 AA batteries for about a year of use.
