The first leaks related to Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 they certified its existence about a month ago. Meanwhile, rumors around the Chinese house's new folding smartphone have increased. So much so that, just a few hours ago, the form factor of this device, due out in the coming weeks, was leaked.
Now we know how Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is made
To disclose the design of the device in question was Kacper Skrzypek, journalist of XDA-Developers, who published a tweet in which he shared some images of Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. They come from the latest MIUI ROM vuild owned by the Chinese house. These are images that show a very simplified version of the smartphone, as we can see below.
The chirping of Skrzypek does not indicate any further information on Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. The only thing that can be deduced is that it will be a “wallet” smartphone, just like the predecessor model. Furthermore, it is possible to deduce that the device will be equipped with a selfie-camera with punch-hole technology in a central position, both on the external and internal displays.
Details also emerge on the rear camera, which will be able to count on a very generous rectangular housing. This could suggest that there is a system with three cameras under the body. And that would mean only one thing, namely that Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 would have a top-of-the-range photographic sector (first foldable to be able to boast it).
The journalist also discovered that the device has the code name Zizhan, which is the same that was leaked in a leak on Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 last January. Among other things, in the same leak there was talk of Mi Mix Flip, Xiaomi's first clamshell smartphone, which could also make its appearance in 2022.
Always analyzing the MIUI code, it was discovered that Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will have a screen identical to that of Xiaomi Mi 10. It is a Super AMOLED display with 90 Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+. Other rumors also claim that it will mount a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and that it will have a new hinge.
