According to the latest from home Xiaomi, the well-known Chinese electronics brand, is about to launch two new devices that promise to amaze technology enthusiasts: the foldable Xiaomi MIX Fold 3" and the tablet Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. Xiaomi MIX Fold 3"
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is codenamed “babylon” and is equipped with MIUI FOLD 14.1 based on Android 13. The internal MIUI version number is MIUI-V14.1.1.0.TMVCNXM.
The new device should be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Qualcomm's most powerful chipset, and a four-lens Leica camera, including a 5x periscopic telephoto lens. Furthermore, the MIX Fold 3 could be the first foldable smartphone with an under-screen camera, both on the internal and external displays. The design of the device is expected to be thin and light, with a waterdrop hinge that ensures greater resistance to drops. The device also supports the 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The MIX Fold 3 was recently certified by China 3C agency, which suggests that its official presentation is imminent.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Max
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max has the code name "yudi" and is equipped with the MIUI 14 system based on Android 13.
The Pad 6 Max will be a tablet with one 12,4-inch screen and 2,5K resolution, the largest ever seen on a Xiaomi tablet. The tablet should be powered by it Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor of the MIX Fold 3 and have a dual circular camera on the back. The tablet also supports 5G and has a battery from 8.840 mAh with quick charge from 33 W. The Pad 6 Max has also been certified by the 3C agency, along with a dedicated keyboard with Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
Both devices are expected to be released in August this year, but there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi for now. There are also rumors that the devices can only be sold in the Chinese market, without global distribution.
