The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is about to launch its new flagship model, the MIX Fold 3, which is shaping up to be the world's first foldable smartphone with an under-screen camera.

The MIX Fold 3 is the successor to the MIX Fold 2, Xiaomi's second foldable smartphone presented in August 2022.
Well, the new device just got the 3C certification, which confirms that it supports the quick charge from 67 W, and should be officially announced in the coming months.
According to rumors, the MIX Fold 3 will have a similar design to its predecessor, with one 6,52 inch external screeni.e. one 8,01-inch foldable internal screen. The most interesting news, however, concerns theA front camera, which will be hidden under the internal screenthus eliminating the need for a hole or notch.
This technology, which allows you to have a completely borderless screen, has already been tested by Xiaomi in the past, but has never been implemented in a commercial product. Currently, only ZTE and its sub-brands Nubia and Red Magic offer under-screen camera smartphones in the market.
In addition to the invisible front camera, the MIX Fold3 will also be distinguished by its rear camera, which it will be equipped with four Leica lenses with full focus. This is a prestigious collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica, the renowned German brand of cameras and optics.
The MIX Fold3 will also be the first smartphone produced with the intelligent production 2.0 digital intelligence system from Xiaomi, which promises to improve the quality, efficiency and safety of the production process. This will also be reflected in the performance of the device, which will be lighter and more resistant to falls than the previous model.
As for the other technical specifications, it is assumed that the MIX Fold 3 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, with 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal memory. The operating system will be MIUI 13 based on Android 13.
The price and release date of the MIX Fold3 have not yet been revealed, but it is estimated to cost iaround 10.000 yuan (about 1.300 euros) in China.
