Yes, because in China this new connectivity has a much higher rate of progress than the one we are experiencing in Europe and several times the Chinese OEM has announced that during 2020 it would have bet everything on 5G. On this basis, in fact, the recent Redmi Note 9 and 9 Pro devices have been judged by poco sense from Xiaomi itself, as they do not integrate the new connection technology and in fact it will not import smartphones at home, but adds more, as ideas for launching smartphones without 5G with a cost of more than 265 euros will no longer be considered.

Good news instead for the European market, where 5G is just in its infancy, therefore we should soon witness the debut of the new Redmi Note 9 and 9 Pro. Besides, for this series Europe represents one of the most profitable markets that have contributed to the success of the new Chinese brand.
But the scenario that is opening up is that in the near future we would no longer be dealing with "cheap" devices, because the parent company will focus on the development of smartphones with 5G technology. So will the future of the brand be to offer very expensive smartphones?
