The giant of Chinese technology Xiaomi is ready to launch its new flagship tablet, the Xiaomi pad 7, together with its flagship smartphone dedicated to photography, the Xiaomi 14Ultra. The devices will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors, respectively, which will offer high performance and advanced features.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 will be the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6, which was presented in April this year together with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The Xiaomi Pad 6 impressed with its metal design, its 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2880x1800 and a refresh rate of 144Hz, its Snapdragon 870 processor, its 8840mAh battery with 33W fast charging and its 13MP rear camera.
Lo Xiaomi pad 7 aims to further improve the features of its predecessor by introducing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which was announced by Qualcomm in November 2022. The processor promises to offer a 20% increase in performance and 30% increase in power efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, as well as supporting 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E , Bluetooth 5.3 and 120Hz display.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 will keep it 11-inch LCD screen with 144Hz refresh rate, but will add a 50MP dual rear camera, a battery 8600mAh with 67W or 90W fast charging, four speakers and a multi-terminal operating system optimized for the tablet. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Pad 7 will be available in two versions: a standard and a Pro, which will differ in processor, memory and storage space.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will instead be Xiaomi's new top-of-the-range smartphone, dedicated to photography enthusiasts. This device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which was unveiled by Qualcomm in January 2024 as the first 3nm chip for mobile devices. This processor will offer a 25% increase in performance and 35% increase in power efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, as well as supporting 6G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 144Hz display.
Both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra are expected for the first quarter of 2024, but there is no official information on price and availability yet.
