The Chinese technology giant, Xiaomi, is working on a new generation of portable devices. Among these, the one stands out xiaomi pad 7 pro, a high-end tablet that promises to offer high performance and a quality multimedia experience.
The specifications of the next Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro have been leaked
Well, the tablet was recently discovered in a piece of code from Xiaomi, which revealed a lot of information about its technical features. The tablet should be presented together with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the next top of the range from the Asian company.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has the code name “sheng”, which is a Chinese musical instrument. Xiaomi has a habit of using musical instrument names as codenames in its tablet series. The model number is “N81A”. The tablet is equipped with a 10 inch LCD panel, produced by Tianma. The resolution is 1480×2367 pixels and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. For comparison, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro measures 11 inches. The new Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will therefore be a more compact tablet than the previous generation.
The heart of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the same one used in flagship phones such as the Xiaomi 13. It is a very powerful chip, which should guarantee the tablet greater fluidity and speed compared to its predecessor, which was equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
On the back of the tablet there are two cameras, the main one and the depth one. It appears that the tablet uses a similar dual camera system as the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. On the front, there is a front camera for selfies and video calls. Unfortunately, the specific parameters are not yet known.
For the rest, the new tablet is equipped with 4 stereo speakers, and the speakers could be similar to those of the Pad 6 Pro. The tablet will therefore offer excellent sound quality, both for music playback and for movies and games. The tablet will be sold only in the Chinese market, and the device will come pre-installed with the HyperOS operating system, based on Android 14.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 series is expected to be officially unveiled at the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in April 2024.
