However, it is right to make a clarification, which was also done by Xiaomi itself. There is no cooperation between the Chinese colossus and US Mobile. This means that US Mobile, in this case, is playing the same role as many other importers.
The sale of Xiaomi smartphones to US by US Mobile is by no means authorized by Xiaomi as there are still no plans for a possible arrival with their smartphones in the "dream land" by the Chinese giant. Mr. Kaylene Hong, manager of Xiaomi, commented on the story:
Recent reports indicate that Xiaomi products will be available in the US There are no plans to sell smartphones through any authorized distributors in the US. US Mobile is not authorized to sell Xiaomi products in the US
Remember, however, that Xiaomi is actually in the US with its own online store but only selling its accessories. Unfortunately, even during the release of these statements by Mr Hong, there has been no hint at any official arrival with their smartphones, neither with regard to the USA, nor much less with regard to Europe.
