Today it is not only Google that presents new products, such as the Pixel 3, but also Xiaomi delights us with a new and interesting home gadget. In fact, the Chinese company has presented a new variant of its famous TV Box, that is the Mi TV Box 4K HDR, which as the name suggests will offer the use of offline and streaming multimedia content enjoying 4K resolution and also in HDR. The device was created in collaboration with Google and will be available in the United States through Walmart.com, with pre-orders starting on October 9 and shipping on October 19 for $ 59,99, equal to approximately 52 euros at current exchange rates.
Of course there is a handy remote control that will offer buttons dedicated to Netflix but also to the voice assistant. And precisely because the product was presented during the Google event, the new Xiaomi Mi TV Box 4K HDR will offer features dedicated to Google Assistant and Chromecast, so that the user can transfer multimedia content to their TV box using the commands vowels. As anticipated, the new gadget supports the 4K HDR video format at 60fps and Dolby DTS audio. As for the specifications, it is equipped with a quadcore Cortex A53 AmLogic S905X CPU with Mali-450 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 4.2, one HDMI 2.0A port, one audio out port, one USB 2.0 port and one power interface. As in previous versions, the operating system is based on Android TV.

On the aesthetic level, Xiaomi for its Mi TV Box 4K HDR has slightly revisited the design, making it slightly more squared but decidedly more modern. A product that we hope will not be dedicated exclusively to the American market and that may soon arrive here in Italy, considering the massive increase in smart TV also in our beautiful country.
