At today's Consumer Electronics Show 2017, Xiaomi introduced a new wireless home network device called Mi Router HD. As the name suggests, this is a Wi-Fi router but with advanced features. The cost will be around 200 dollars for the basic version while going up to 500 dollars for the top version, and is a product intended for all those who want to obtain the best possible performance on all their devices connected to the network. And Xiaomi explains why users will have to choose their Mi Router HD.
The new product comes with technology MU-MIMO 4 × 4 Multi User In Multiple Out, this means that the router can open a communication channel for each user by making only the required bandwidth.
Support is available data transfer rates up to 2600 Mbps via four PCB antennas high gain, will be equipped with an integrated hard disk with a capacity of 1 TB or 8 Terabytes, Processor Qualcomm IPQ8064 and a body made of aluminum alloy.
In addition to being a wireless router, the Mi Router HD offers several clever features, including automatic backups from all connected devices and support for the time Machine, something Mac users will appreciate. In addition the router can also be synchronized with Dropbox and the Sonos-branded sound ecosystem.
