Although the smartphone turned out to be an absolute best buy, someone may find it fundamental the absence of the 20 band and therefore desist from the purchase. Apparently though, even the latter will be satisfied, as new news from the sector tell us that short and quini presumably in February, Xiaomi will release the Global version for both Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.
The well-known leaker @Rquandt reveals this that via the Twitter social platform talks about us support for the 20 LTE band as well as global launch in the second half of February. The countries in which Xiaomi Redmi 5 / 5 Plus will be available have not been mentioned, but surely more details will come with the next days.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 presents a display from 5,7 inches with an HD + resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels in 18: 9 format. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 450 and is available in two memory configurations of 2 / 3 GB of RAM and 16 / 32 GB of storage. 12 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera with 1080p video recording support. The smartphone includes connectivity options such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The Plus version, on the other hand, presents a Full HD + display from 5.99 in with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with form factor in 18: 9, moved by the chipset Snapdragon 625. It comes with memory cuts of 3 / 4 GB of RAM e 32 / 64 GB of storage. It shares the configuration of the camera with that of the Redmi 5 and is powered by a battery 4000 mAh.
