The recent presentation in Europe of Honor 5X has asked us a question about the advantages of buying this latest smartphone instead of its direct competitor made in Xiaomi, or the Redmi Note 3. Of course, the fact of being officially marketed in Europe is a feature not to be underestimated but, leaving it out and the fact that they are equivalent in terms of metal body, what are the differences in terms of technical specifications?

As you can see, they are equivalent in many sectors but the key features in which the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 wins are perhaps the ones most taken into consideration by users, namely the battery (1000 mAh difference), the general dimensions despite the display having the same diagonal, the amount of RAM memory and above all the selling price.
Even adding the shipping cost and the importer's profit, it is theoretically cheaper to buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 than the Honor 5X. What's your opinion? Remaining as objective as possible, which of the two do you prefer?
