After releasing China's microblogging platform Weibo images and anticipations on the release of the next smartphone of the RedMi Note series, here's the Xiaomi RedMi Note 4X was spotted on TENAA, China Certification Authority.
The sighting would eventually relate another of the cell phones we had talked about in this article, and more precisely according to the famous news site Mydrive the RedMi Note 4x is associated with the 2016101 serial number.
From the TENAA certification, it seems that Xiaomi RedMi Note 4X is equipped with a clocked 2,0Ghz processor, which would make Snapdragon 653 impossible. In fact, it looks like the RedMi Note 4X mounts a Snapdragon 625 that is said to have more balanced performance. The reason for not using SD653 is assumed to be in the will of Xiaomi to reserve it to another device. In fact at the moment the Snapdragon in question is present only on two terminals: Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro - launched in China in October of 2016 and later in India as a mid-range smartphone - and Oppo R9 Plus, both smartphones with 6GB of RAM, while the RedMi Note 4X should have "only" 4GB.
The Snapdragon 625 is still a powerful processor and currently underlies the international versions of Xiaomi RedMi Note 4 and RedMi 4 Pro, but this choice for RedMi Note 4X makes us think about what else may have changed compared to RedMi Note 4 , and if it could be a model with a redesigned antenna.
