Xiaomi Redmi Notes 5A: A as low-cost!
This time we start from the bottom. The price.
Absolutely competitive price, for the three versions that stand out for internal storage capacity and RAM memory.
- Redmi Note 5A with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory (expandable) at approximately 89;
- Redmi Notes 5A Prime with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory (expandable) at approximately 115;
- Redmi Notes 5A Prime with 4 GB of RAM memory and 64 GB of internal memory (expandable) at 150 euro around
The variants are three, as you can see, but Xiaomi - just to confuse ideas ... - called Standard the cheaper version and wanted to differentiate the two High Editions for memories, leaving the specifications of the latter two variants unaltered.
By briefly commenting on the price, this Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A it becomes the cheapest mid-range smartphone, with low-cost support Redmi 4A, as if to point out that A for Xiaomi is synonymous with low prices.
Xiaomi Redmi Notes 5A: Features
Both versions are made entirely of metal, in color champagne gold, rose gold e silver graya display from 5,5 inches HD Ready (720p) and with brightness equal to 450 nit. The Curved 2.5D glass with Gorilla Glass protection will only be present on Prime variants.
Note of merit to Xiaomi especially as regards the 'memory expansion which, for the first time, will not force users to sacrifice a SIM slot as the trolley has the default option to enter two nano-SIM and a microSD.
Complete the technical specifications of both versions, one battery from 3080 mAh because, as we will see shortly, the cameras and processors are different depending on the version ... ah! And let's not forget the fingerprint sensor!
First of all, the Standard version (2GB / 16GB) does not have a sensor for fingerprint recognition. Maybe a little bit too drastic by Xiaomi, but still understandable also seen the launch price. The most economical variant is then characterized by one rear camera from 13 Megapixel (f / 2.2) and a camera front of 5 Megapixel (without Flash). Moving everything will be one Snapdragon 425, less performance of the processor mounted on board the Prime variants.
There is a markedly different situation with regard, however, to the two Prime versions: the processor will be one Snapdragon 435 and the cameras are absolutely worthy of note. 16 Megapixel with Soft Flash LED for the front camera and 13 Megapixel for the rear photo compartment. On the back then, but only for these two variants, we will find the classic Redmi Sensor Sensor for the fingerprint recognition.
To complete the discussion, we report that the new one Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A will be made available in China as of tomorrow and will be updated on the next Friday MIUI 9 developer, but we do not know when and if it will receive Global.
