In days gone by a new entry level appeared in the CDMA database showing specifications such as a CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and a 13 megapixel rear camera. This smartphone will most likely be Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A which will be rumored to be released later this month, probably on August 21st.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, model MDE6, will also adopt a Display from 5,5 inches with HD 720p resolution and a RAM memory of only 2 GB and 16GB of internal storage, 3080mAh battery, and operating system Android 7.1.
If for Chinese users these technical characteristics are more than enough for the rest of the world the new entry level of the Chinese company could be snubbed, but an "enhanced" version seems to peep out.
The model with advanced features of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A will bear the initials MDE6S and MDT6S and will use a 5,5-inch display with Full HD 1080p resolution, will be powered by Snapdragon 625 processor and will also be expected support for fast charging. The two models mentioned above will have 3 GB of RAM or 4GB with the further addition of a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The prices of the 3 variants seem to be the respective ones: 599 yuan (76 euro) for the 2GB version, 799 yuan (101 euro) for the 3GB version and 999 yuan (127 euro) for the premium version from 4 GB. It is unclear whether the new MIUI 9 interface will be present but apparently the models seem to be destined to emerging market users.
