You will be tired of reading news about the latest Redmi Note 7 Pro, but in our opinion it is a terminal that deserves and that probably interests many of you. So, which one is last? Well, finally we can admire the much chat camera from 48MP at work!
The images come directly from the co-founder and president of Xiaomi in person, Lei Jun, who with a post on the Chinese social Weibo shared the first photos taken with the "top of the range" of Redmi.
Redmi Notes 7 Pro: First photo tests, even in the dark
Lei Jun also commented that "our friends used the same Sony camera from 48MP and it does not look bad". With "our friends" Lei Jun clearly refers to the Redmi division, who has become an independent brand for a couple of months. While in terms of the camera mentioned, it is exactly the same that we find on the Xiaomi Mi 9 flagship and on the "semi-flagship" Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, or the Sony IMX586.
But we have to point out that even though the image sensor is the same, the Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE have a wider focal aperture af / 1,75 against the f / 1,8 of the Redmi Note 7 Pro. A very small difference that will most likely be difficult to be noted, even in poor light conditions.
Since we’re already talking about low-light photography, you’ll be happy to know that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will also receive Super Night Scene mode. This technology allows you to take photos using the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and merging four 0,8µm pixels into a larger 1,6µm one. By doing so, the single pixel has a larger surface area and can therefore accumulate more light, which is essential for low-light photography. The result is a photo that has both less noise and more brightness overall.
In addition to joining the four pixels, Xiaomi software combines different layers with multiple exposures, reduces noise, corrects artifacts and adds a sort of electronic stabilization that uses AI (artificial intelligence). So, in theory, you do not need a tripod to take pictures in the dark, you just need a steady hand and a little patience.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro has not yet been officially presented in China but there is very little time left, the launch event is in fact already scheduled for March 18. If you still don't know the specifications, suffice it to say that it will equip the excellent Snapdragon 675 supported by up to 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory and a large 4000mAh battery.
"You will be getting tired" ... no Paolo ... just go easy !!! 😁
