How to program, Xiaomi has just announced the new series of RedmiBook 14 laptops with AMD Ryzen processors, in addition to those introduce yourself a few months ago they instead equipped Intel-produced chips.
The new RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition laptops represent the first time of Xiaomi with AMD processors and is therefore something epochal in itself. Moreover, thanks to the adoption of these CPUs Redmi will be able to reduce even more the already quite competitive prices, raising again the bar with regard to the entry-level laptop category (quality).
RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition presented, starting from 2999 Yuan (380 €)
The 14 Ryzen Edition RedmiBooks come with the same design as their predecessors with Intel, which means we have an 14 inch diagonal display with Full HD resolution and very thin edges surrounding it for a 81,2 percent screen / shell ratio. The laptops also have an all-metal body and a weight of only 1,5 kilos.
Going to the internal hardware instead, Redmi announced four different versions. We have the cheapest ones with Ryzen 5 3500U processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory, followed by the one with Ryzen 5 3500U with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory. Going then to the more performing ones with Ryzen 7 3700U processor, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory and the one with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory.
The models are assisted by an eighth generation AMD Radeon Vega chip for the first two (Ryzen 5 3500U) and tenth generation for those with the Ryzen 7 3700U processor.
Among other specifications we find support for professional DTS audio and 1C fast reload to recharge the handset up to 50% in 35 minutes only.
The 14 Ryzen Edition RedmiBooks will be available in Star Sand Gray and Moonlight Silver colors at the price of:
- 2999 Yuan for Ryzen 5 3500U + 8GB + 256GB
- 3299 Yuan for Ryzen 5 3500U + 8GB + 512GB
- 3799 Yuan for Ryzen 7 3700U + 8GB + 512GB
Still to determine the price for the Ryzen version 7 3700U + 16GB + 512GB.
