Xiaomi and Roborock cited by Wyze: the story also concerns Amazon

Xiaomi e Roborock I'm in the eye of the storm, again, due to a patent infringement. However, this time your companies are on the side of the accused and not of those they accuse (forgive me for the lack of legal technical language). In short: the two companies were sued in Seattle federal court by Wyze Labs, a smart home device company, which is trying to invalidate their 2019 patent patent refers to a cleaning device such as a vacuum cleaner robot.

Xiaomi and Roborock are "running into trouble" because of Wyze, a company that produces robot vacuum cleaners. Here's what's happening in detail

But you will say "And what does Amazon have to do with it?". More than you can imagine since the accusation was born from the largest e-commerce in the world. But let's go in order. Wyze, based in Kirkland, Washington, announced its last fall Vacuum robot. The society he states in his complaint of July 15 to have received a notice from Amazon on June 7 stating that the owner of the U.S. patent number 10.271.699 “Self-contained cleaning device and wind path structure of the same,” Wyze was claiming the breach.

A follow-up email from Amazon on 25 June indicated that "For Wyze to continue selling the accused product on Amazon, Wyze must either resolve the complaint directly with the patent owner or agree to participate in Amazon's neutral patent assessment process within three weeks". The email also indicated that if Wyze did not resolve the complaint directly with the patent owner or did not agree to participate in the neutral assessment process, Amazon would have removed the product from ecommerce.
