Xiaomi denies the existence of a fundraiser to finance the entry into the US market

It is well known that Xiaomi has been facing a noteworthy financial deficit for some time, mainly due to the not always exciting results obtained last year. The latest rumors, promptly denied by the Chinese company, spoke of a fundraiser intended to finance the imminent entry into the American market, which has always been a source of important earnings for large companies. Xiaomi's chief financial officer Shou Zi Chew said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal at CES in Las Vegas that the company has a solid financial system and does not need a fundraiser to counter the significant losses in market share suffered in recent months. Shou continued the interview by remarking several times that the company has no economic problems, but did not disclose other details when more in-depth information was requested. Xiaomi has always stood up to rival companies, especially in 2014, when it managed to excel in the telephony market, but due to market strategies not always up to par (such as the choice of adopting only one sales channel) combined with the frequent unavailability of products in stock, a large slice of the market has been seen by competitors such as Huawei, OPPO and Vivo. To cope with the inevitable losses, the giant has decided to focus heavily on trade outside the Chinese borders, having on its side an excellent team capable of creating innovative products of undisputed quality.
