The automotive world is abuzz with the announcement of Xiaomi, a technological giant known for its smartphones and smart devices, which is preparing to enter the electric car market with its first model: the Xiaomi SU7. This car promises to redefine the standards of autonomy in the sector, offering versions with battery capacities that reach impressive heights.

According to the latest from China, in fact, the SU7 will be available in two main versions, differentiated by the capacity of the battery pack: one from 101kWh and the other from 73.6kWh. The 101kWh version offers autonomy that varies between 800km and 750km, while the 73.6kWh one between 668km and 628km. These numbers place the SU7 at the top of the category in terms of distance that can be covered on a single charge, with a maximum of 800km and an entry into the electrical world a 628km.
Despite the generous capacity of the batteries, the weight of the vehicles remains in line with that of the main electric competitors in the same segment: 2205kg for the 101kWh version e 1980kg for the 73.6kWh one. This balance between weight and performance is key to ensuring an optimal driving experience and high energy efficiency.
Xiaomi has outlined a range of models that includes the standard, Pro and Max versions, as well as a track version not intended for mass sale, designed for the most demanding enthusiasts. Prices vary between 190.000 (24,5k euros) and 300.000 yuan (38,7k euros), positioning the SU7 as an accessible option for those who want to enter the world of electric cars without giving up high-level performance.
The standard version a 190.000 yuan aims to lower the market entry threshold, while the Pro and Max versions are designed to drive sales and consolidate the high-end image of the Xiaomi brand in the automotive sector.
According to the latest rumors, the Xiaomi Automobile SU7 launch conference has been scheduled internally and will be held in Beijing on 28th December.
