Xiaomi is among the companies that promises and allows the greatest number of features on their own custom skin. With the MIUI 12.5, for example, we have seen a myriad of new features such as MIUI +, or the proprietary mirroring service. Unfortunately, however, some features are not available in the global version, at least not immediately. It is the case of Xiaomi Talk, a new service that replaces and improves the old Mi Talk. Let's go and see specifically what is it e how it works.

Before seeing what it is, it must be said that Xiaomi Talk is an exclusive service (at the moment) of Chinese ROMs. Without a doubt in a future moment it will also arrive in global ROMs but we do not know when. However, to prepare for that moment, you need to know what it is and how it works. Basically this new service goes to replace the old Mi Talk decommissioned a few days ago. It is a feature that allows you to to take control (and give it) of a smartphone remotely, with the sole purpose of providing assistance.

How does it work? Through a menu that we can comfortably operate from the main screen of our smartphone, it is possible to request assistance remotely. Imagine yourself in a situation of danger or necessity for which your strengths alone are not sufficient. Using Xiaomi Talk it is concretely possible call another user and let him do the work.
How? It will come password required that we must enter in order to establish a connection with the other user. This password will clearly be generated by us at that precise moment. The user, on the other hand, will insert within the application (as you can see in the picture) such code and through this he will have access to our smartphone. We do not know if this functionality can allow our "interlocutor" to take complete control of the device, but we assume not.
