The brand dedicated to the production of power banks and accessories for smartphones, ZMI, part of the Xiaomi ecosystem never seems to stop. So here is yet another 10000mAh power bank is presented, although in reality it is a slightly modified version of a device already on sale.
ZMI 10000mAh Power Bank now also in Lightning version
The new ZMI 10000mAh Power Bank has in fact the peculiarity of the support for Apple products. In particular, the power bank supports the APPLE MFI standard, that is, the one necessary to be compatible with the smartphones and tablets of the Cupertino brand.
In addition to the Apple MFI certification, the gadget adopts a Lightning-type port, two-way fast charging technology and 18W Power Delivery technology. The maximum charging power through the Lightning port is however limited to 15W.
Alternatively, the ZMI 10000mAh power bank has a USB Type-C port to pass up to 18W of power. With an USB Type-C to Lightning cable you can therefore charge an iPhone 11 50% faster than the original 5V / 1A charger.
Going in detail, the power bank can be recharged to 5V2A or 9V2A depending on the port used. As for charging other devices, it can instead charge at 5V2.4A, 9V2A and 12V1.5A (18W Max) through the USB Type-A port and 5V3A, 9V2A and 12V1.5A (always 18W Max) on the USB port Type-C. If two devices are connected at the same time, it will be possible to recharge them both at 5V3A, i.e. 15W.
Obviously, the capacity of the device is 10000mAh, so enough for several days of use depending on the uses. In general, with the average size of the batteries in our smartphones, with 10000mAh we should be able to recharge one from 0 to 100% for about 2 times. Furthermore, if used with a PC, it can even use the USB Type-A port (the ordinary one) as an expansion. We can then connect a memory card reader or mouse and it will be recognized by the operating system.
In addition to the specifications that already make it one of the best power banks in circulation, the ZMI 10000mAh also has a look with fabric designed for the winter season, which in addition to making it more fascinating, also makes it become less cold to the touch in comparison to the many others metal or plastic power bank. From the point of view of size and weight instead, the power bank is 140,6mm x 72mm x 15,9mm for 205 grams.
The ZMI 10000mAh Power Bank with Apple support is now in pre-sale in China but we do not know the price which should still be around 139 Yuan, about € 17 at the current exchange rate.
