You've heard so much about the processor Snapdragon 835 of Qualcomm as one of the best chipsets on the market with high performance, which we also remember to feed the top of the range Xiaomi Mi 6. Yet after the success achieved by SD835 it seems that the US company is at work to create a new CPU that would bring the name of Snapdragon 845.
According to leaps, Qualcomm is basing the implementation of the new generation of chips, the Snapdragon 845, on a process at 7nm. The new chipset is said to be developed with the collaboration of Samsung and will launch on the market with the Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone.
The next-generation technology at 7nm has been designed by TMSC, a Taiwan - based company that reports of having started the production of the first test chipset and mass production will begin next year and that already several manufacturers including Qualcomm, MediaTek, Apple and Huawei are concerned with that technology they expect to adopt for their future chipsets.
According to TSMC, this new process at 7nm should offer higher performance than 25% / 35% compared to those offered by 10nm, and that about the 95% of the components currently adopted on a 10 nm CPU can also be included on the new CPU.
With this you could see the even slimmer smartphone scenario, but also larger batteries and even better performance than this year's models. Do you know if Xiaomi is already thinking of gaining some units or will it focus on the production of its proprietary chipset?
In the end the smartphone will be at the 90% battery
yeah ... the trend of the future ... it seems like a century has passed since cell phones were just calling ...
